Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents named her Winona for her home town. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder believes she is Jewish and descends from Ryder's Jewish father. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder's parents moved her and her siblings into Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder would read extensively due to the absence of television. At the age of twelve, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986 that she was in, was her debut major role. Ryder was only 15 when she got it. Ryder faced bullying in high school. Ryder believed that if she became an actor her behaviour would be changed. Sadly that didn't happen. But she continued to pursue her dream. In 1988 she had her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful roles in many movies. In 1993, Ryder was nominated two times for the Academy Awards.
