Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes soul gospel jazz and R&B in a signature mix. Avery Sunshine's performances have been on Broadway and at festivals in Europe, as well as performing at Democratic National Convention. Sunshine is Denise White. While she now lives in Atlanta the place she was raised is Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical path began at church where she sang and played piano. Her musical career began in Atlanta in Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was called Stalk You a house 12 issued only in Japan; it has been remixed since by a variety of producers and has become an essential part in her live show. The voice of hers was featured in the music video for The Fighting Temptations. She took on the role of primary piano player for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday (a Grammy and Tony Award winner) approached her for the position of choir conductor for Dreamgirls in Atlanta during the National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine received national attention for her daily shows at the Democratic National Convention. She was then invited to perform during President Obama's 2008 inauguration.
